Description
Beautiful vintage Citizen Leopard High Beat 28,800 from 1973. This was the King Seiko main competitor in the early seventies and is an excellent alternative, with a more reliable movement and and at least an equal overall quality. The movement has a beat rate of 28,800, it has the hacking second and the manual winding feature.
The 37 mm stainless steel case is in good condition with some wear, the textured dial is flawless.
The overall conditon is good.
The movement holds very good time (+/- 10 s/j).
The day / date quickset can be set by pushing the crown with either 12 at top (for the date) or at bottom (for the day). A very clever sytem.
The leather band is new, as is the glass crystal.
Vintage watch with unknown history but checked, serviced (09/2022) and cleaned. Water resistance non tested.
