What a beauty… Gorgeous Orient Weekly Auto AAA Swimmer, probably from the late 60’s. Beautiful 37 mm wide stainless steel case, original Orient signed crown, champaign dial with days in japanese Kanji at 6 and date at 3 (date with quickset).
Good overall cosmetic condition, with some light wear on the case and the dial. The leather bracelet is new, the crystal has been replaced.
The movement is an automatic 25 jewels Orient (1940 calibre ?).
It holds good time, the drift is about 15 seconds a day and the amplitude of the balance is good.
A classy/sporty model, with quite large dimensions making it still wearable regarding the modern standards.
Vintage watch with unknown history but serviced (the days didn’t shift at 12), checked and cleaned (November 2020). Water resistance non tested.
