Fully original high grade Seiko 3823-7001 V.F.A. from 1974, in good original condition.
V.F.A. stands for “Very Fine Adjusted”, the 3823 calibre was the top of top in the early 70’s. That 38SQW 010 model was the most expensive model presented in the Seiko JDM 1974 catalogue. It was 3 times more expensive than a 61 or 56 Grand Seiko and 5 times more expensive than a 6138 chronograph !
The steel case is in good condition, with minor wear. The crystal is flawless, as is the dial.
A new battery has been fitted and it’s working nicely.
Finally, the watch comes with its original stainless steel bracelet.
Vintage watch without known history but serviced, checked and cleaned (09/2023). Water resistance non tested.
