Description
Seiko 5 Actus SS that was marketed for the japanese domestic market (JDM). It was released in April 1972 according to its serial number.
The watch is in its nice untouched original condition, including the crystal and the stainless steel band. I just cleaned it.
Nice silver, dauphine hands and steel indexes. Day (in English and Kanji) and date at 3 with working quickset for both.
The movement is a Seiko 25-jewel automatic 6106. It has just been serviced. It works fine (+/- 10 s/d).
The overall condition is good, the dial has a spot between 8 and 9 o’clock, the steel case and the bracelet having some minor wear. The original crystal has some light scratches but is still nice.
Vintage watch with unknown history but serviced (2021/10) checked and cleaned. Water resistance non tested (so no dipping or shower with this watch).
