Description
This is perhaps what we can call the “Super Seiko 5”, with its rare and sophisticated 5139 27 jewels movement. It was released in December 1971 according to its serial number.
The watch is in its original condition, including the crystal that has been polished.
Silver dial, thin dauphine hands and steel markers, all in good condition. Day (in japanese kanji) and date at 3, with working quickset the date.
The movement is a Seiko 27-jewel automatic 5139. It has just been serviced (new balance 2020/11) and cleaned. It works fine.
The overall condition is good, the steel case has some minor wear. The leather bracelet is new.
Vintage watch with unknown history but checked and cleaned. Water resistance non tested (so no dipping or shower with this watch).
