Description

Beautiful classic Seiko Champion Calendar 860 from 1964.
This watch is a little bit particular because the original gold plated case was too damaged to be restored. The stainless steel case comes from another Seiko Champion Calendar, which dial and movement were in really bad condition. The case has the reference J13050 and is really beautiful with its long lugs.
The crown is an original Seiko SW signed one.
The overall condition of the watch is good, with minor wear on the case and the dial. The crystal is new, as is the leather bracelet.

The movement holds good time (+ 15 s/d), it has just been serviced (09/2020). The mainspring has been replaced, coming from an automatic 7619 movement. That means that there is no end to the winding, when the spring is fully loaded, you can still rotate the crown but it has no effect on it. I measured a power reserve of 37 hours, which is good.

So, this is a particular model of Seiko, in good condition.

Vintage watch with unknown history but serviced (2020/09), checked and cleaned. Water resistance non tested.
