Watch & Vintage proposes this gorgeours iconic vintage Seiko Marvel from 1955. Stainless steel 34.6 mm case with snap back. The case is quite big for a Marvel. The calibre is a mechanical Seikosha with 17 jewels.
I won’t write the whole story of the model, you’ll find it easily on the web, it is the one that really launched the success story of Seiko in the fifties.
The overall condition of the watch is very good. The dial is flawless, the case has almost no wear. Golden dauphine hands and hour markers, original “S” signed crown.
The movement has been serviced, it holds good time and the balance has a good amplitude.
Crystal in good condition and new black leather band.
So, this is a beautiful Marvel in a very good condition, which is rare.
Vintage watch with unknown history but serviced (2021/02) checked and cleaned. Water resistance non tested.
