Description
This is perhaps what we can call the “Super Seiko 5”, with its rare and sophisticated 5139 27 jewels movement. It was released in April 1968 according to its serial number.
The watch is in its original condition, except for the crystal that has been replaced.
White flawless dial, dauphine hands and steel markers, all in good condition. Day (in English) and date at 3, with working quickset.
The movement is a Seiko 27-jewel automatic 5139. It has just been serviced and cleaned. It works fine.
The overall condition is good, the cushion steel case has some minor wear. The steel bracelet is original to the watch. There is a small bump on the buckle.
Vintage watch with unknown history but checked and cleaned. Water resistance non tested (so no dipping or shower with this watch).
