Description
The design of this Seiko 5 Sports is inspired by the Chonographs 6138 & 6139. It was released in January 1971 according to its serial number.
The watch is in its original condition except for the glass crystal, which has just been replaced, and the leather band.
Gorgeous black dial, bâtons minute and hour hands and triangle second hand. Day (in english and kanji) and date at 3.
The movement is a Seiko 21-jewel automatic 7019 with a day/date quickset. It has just been serviced, it works fine (+ 15 s/d).
The overall condition is good, the big pillow case has some light wear and the dial is in excellent condition. The hands have a little patina.
Definetely a gorgeous vintage Seiko watch, in good condition.
Vintage watch with unknown history but serviced (2020/12) checked and cleaned. Water resistance non tested (so no dipping or shower with this watch).
