Description
Beautiful and rare Seiko 5 Sportsmatic Deluxe Waterproof 30 in good overall condition. It was released in july 1964 according to its serial number, it has the early Sportsmatic logo.
This watch is in its original condition, nice white dial with slight wear, dauphine hands and steel indexes. Day (in english) and date at 3. The case has some minor wear.
The movement is a Seiko 23-jewel automatic 7606. It works fine, holds good time (+/- 15 s a day). There is a date quickset on this calibre, there is a dedicated pusher for this (which is very particular on this model).
The plexi is new, as is the black leather band.
Vintage watch with unknown history but checked and cleaned. Water resistance non tested.
