Seiko 6206

The Seiko 6206 movement has been introduced in 1964 as an evolution of the Seikosha 800 movement. It was an automatic day and date calibre beating at 18,000 bph, with 26 jewels. The day disc was printed in one language (English or Kanji), the day written in full letters/ideograms. It had a quickset for the date only.
It was used in the Seikomatic/Seikomatic Weekdater and the Seiko Business range.
