The Silverwave range first appeared in 1964 with the Seikomatic SilverWave. It had an rotating inner bezel. That model is today quite rare and sought after.
What we offer today is a 2nd generation Silverwave from the 70’s and based on the “5 Actus” range. The two most distinctive elements on that watch are the screwed crown and double wave embossed on the back.
Similar models were declined with quartz movements and later even LCD quartz SilverWave models were proposed (still with the double wave on the back).
So an interesting model, half dress watch half diver’s.
